I have been teaching for many decades on many levels, from kindergarten to university, and I have been training and supervising teachers for many years. Here are some suggestions for good teaching. All look simple, some may need some longer training, possibly with the help of a friendly peer-supervisor.
Some proposals I have written as a little self-quiz for you.
What teachers should never say
“This is an easy task.”
Why do you think this is a bad hint?
Well, whatever the students achieve, it will not contribute to their self-assertion: (1) If the succeed, they cannot be proud because they tackled only an “easy” task. (2) If they fail, they will have to conclude that their are really dumb.
